Well, we think it is more...but just that is 6-7 times more than the current population of Ireland! Our American community has assimilated but remains strong and we want you to join with us. You do not have to be of native Irish ancestry to support us or to be a member. You do not have to belong to any particular religion...you just want to be a part of a no-nonsense 501c3 that is dedicated to truth and justice in the United States and Ireland. If you want to start a face-to-face group...we will help with that too.

Our inspiration is the "Society of United Irishmen" which was founded, in Ireland, in 1791. It was a nonsectarian group dedicated to the principles of equal rights and liberty for all. Principles made popular by, what was then, the recent revolutions in France and America. These ideas threatened the British imperial overlords and the movement was brutally suppressed. This resulted in the rebellions of 1798 and 1803...and unending generations of "Irish Republicans".
Our mission is to preserve and promote the American-Irish culture while, at the same time, raising awareness and support:
1. To battle food insecurity in the USA.
2. To battle homelessness in the United States.
3. To keep the promise of our ancestors and support the continued efforts to peacefully, yet demonstrably, extricate British crown forces from the 6 Irish counties they still occupy.
